Recent Research Activities

  • My paper with Sébastien, Sebastian, and Zoubin is accepted at ICML 2014.

  • February 2014: I am now an Assistant Professor in Machine Learning at the University of Sussex, UK. We will have openings soon at the SMiLe CLiNiC (Sussex Machine Learning for Computational Linguistics, Network analysis, and Computer vision). Key facts about Sussex: 1) Top 10 in the UK - 60th in the world for research influence (THE, World University Rankings 2013-2014), 2) The sunniest part of UK, 3) Less than half an hour by cycle to the Brighton Beach, 4) The 6th safest university cities and towns.

  • January - April 2014: I was teaching a postgraduate course on machine learning at Sussex.

  • Thanks to Amazon for granting AWS in Education Machine Learning Research Grant for our project in Large Scale Bayesian Non-parametric Structured Prediction.
