Wee note to US citizens
Dear US citizens,
the atmosphere is a resource shared by all inhabitants of the
Earth. It has a finite capacity to absorb greenhouse gases without
causing damaging environmental change. Current global emissions are 5
tons CO2(e) per person per year. This level is unsustainable and must be
reduced significantly. Current US emissions are 15 tons CO2(e) per
person per year. Please do something about it. Now.
Thank you.
