About me

I am a Research Associate in the Machine Learning Group at the University of Cambridge, working with Prof. Carl Rasmussen. Before starting my postdoc I did my PhD at the Automatic Control group at Linköping University, Sweden. My supervisor was Prof. Thomas Schön from Uppsala University. My co-supervisors were Prof. Fredrik Gustafsson and Dr. Jeroen Hol. From January until March 2015 I went on a research visit to the Bayesian Methodology Group at Aalto University, Finland, cooperating with Dr. Simo Särkkä and Dr. Arno Solin. Before starting as a PhD student, I received a M.Sc. in Applied Physics in Januari 2009 and a M.Sc. in Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society in June 2007 from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. Between Februari 2009 and July 2011 I worked as a research engineer at Xsens Technologies. My research interests lie in the fields of sensor fusion, signal processing and machine learning.
