Akisato Kimura received his B.E., M.E. and D.E. degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 1998, 2000 and 2007, respectively. Since 2000, he has been with NTT Communication Science Laboratories, where he is currently a senior research scientist in Media Information Laboratory. He stays Machine Learning Research Group, University of Cambridge as a visiting scholar supervised by Prof. Zoubin Gharamani from March 2017 to March 2018. His research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, human visual perception, data mining and machine learning.
