Colorado Reed received a BSc in Applied Physics: Computer Science from the University of Iowa. He has interned with the Machine Learning Group at JPL as well as the LIGO group at Caltech. His previous research was mainly in experimental high energy physics and astrophysics, though he now focuses on developing scalable nonparametric Bayesian models.
