I am a Member of Technical Staff at Ineffable Intelligence. I was a PhD student in the Machine Learning Group, supervised by Richard Turner. My PhD focused on some combination of variational inference, expectation propagation, natural gradient methods, and structured recognition models. I am interested, more broadly, in probabilistic machine learning, reinforcement learning, and particularly in connections between machine learning and the brain.
