Kai graduated from Homerton College, University of Cambridge with M.Phil in Machine Learning, Speech and Language Technology in 2016. He joined the group in 2016 as a research assistant, working on the probabilistic programming project Turing.jl with Prof. Zoubin Ghahramani and Dr. Hong Ge.

Since September 2017, Kai is based at School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, doing his Ph.D study.
