Matthias Bauer graduated with an M.Sc. in Physics from University of Munich and a Master of Advanced Studies in Physics from Cambridge University. He went on to work as a research assistant in the Statistical and Biological Physics group at the University of Munich. He joined the Cambridge-Tübingen PhD programme in 2015 and is funded by the EPSRC and the Qualcomm European Research Studentship Fund.
